SUPPORT SAFE WATER WITH GOURMET COFFEE

TWM has partnered The Honduran Coffee Alliance and San Antonio-based Volunteer Coffee to bring gourmet Honduran coffee to you. All profits from the initiative support TWM’s safe water projects in Honduras including water wells drilling and maintenance, health and hygiene education, rainwater harvesting, countertop filtration systems, and other relevant clean water solutions.

TWM’s partners for Coffee into Water are:

The Honduran Coffee Alliance, a group that exports raw beans from small coffee farms in Honduras and other Central American countries to roasters worldwide. Their goal is “TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF HARDWORKING COFFEE PRODUCERS THROUGH SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT.”

Volunteer Coffee, a Texas-based company that purchases and roasts HCA beans from producer Wilfredo Nolasco Duarte. Mr. Duarte belongs to the Cooperativa Cafetalera Volcan California (COCAVOCAL) and his coffee farm is located in Porterillos, El Paraiso. The beans are grown in ~60% native hardwood tree shade (mostly guamo trees, with some avocado and orange).  Volunteer Coffee owners Steven and Erin Bolden donate a portion of all proceeds to local, regional, and international charities.
