Texas Water Mission’s annual Wine & Water Dinner is an essential fundraiser for the organization. It is also a festive celebration and a warm gathering of friends.
Our 2023 event was no different. In fact we had 40% more attendees including many newcomers and students. Credit Human, San Antonio Shambhala, and Trinity by the Sea all purchased tables for the first time and filled them with interested guests. Our live auction had 10 items, an all time record. We had presentations by students at Mays Business School who are raising funds to support TWM, new board members Dr. Bill Groos and Rev. Jay Buzzini on our May trip to Honduras, and ED Linda Stone with updates on the Navajo Nation, coffee sales, and internships, among other things. Sales of Navajo, Honduran and Ugandan goods almost sold out, and the food from Don Strange was the best we’d eaten. Thanks to all who made this event possible and all of you who attended.
